Textile traditions of South Asia

 

The crafts museum had a wonderful exhibition of textiles from South Asia, including India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Burma, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Maldives. The variety from printed to woven, embellished and textured was extraordinary.
