Ravi Dayal's passing

It was a shock to be informed of Ravi Dayal's sudden death, that happened due to heart failure. He had just had surgery as a result of lung cancer.

I don’t have much else to add, other than it’s a terrible loss for his wife, his daughter, other family, writers, readers and book publishers in India and around the world.

He will be missed in the neighborhood of Sujan Singh Park, where he lived for many years. His low key style, with a biri tucked between his fingers walking between A and E blocks. His friendly and polite manner, along with his understated elegance.
